Itinerary

Sacred Sojourn: South India Temple Tour

  • 1st Day: Madurai sightseeing

    After arriving at Madurai Airport or Madurai Railway Station in the early morning, you’ll be greeted by our local tour representative. Check into the hotel in Madurai and take a rest for a while. Begin your Madurai city tour by offering prayers to the Goddess at Sri Meenakshi Temple or Meenakshi Amman. Admire the beautiful rock-cut architecture of Thiruparankundram and offer prayer to Lord Murugan in this 6th-century temple. Continue your sightseeing tour to Koodal Azhagar Temple, Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam, Arulmigu Subramaniya Swami Temple Tripura kundam, Gandhi Memorial Museum. Spend the evening at leisure before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

  • 2nd Day: Madurai to Rameswaram - Transfer and sightseeing

    Morning after breakfast, ready to “Hit Rameshwaram “drive to Rameshwaram (175 km, 03-04 hours journey). On arrival at Rameshwaram check in to the hotel after proceeding to local sightseeing Temple sightseeing Temple Arulmigu Sri Ramanathaswamy Thirukoil Ramarpatham Kothandaramar Temple Abdul Kalam house and Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • 3rd Day: Rameswaram

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Rameshwaram and dive to Ram Theertham, Lakshman Theertham, Five Face Hanuman Temple. Danushkodi, Villoondi theertham, Pampa Bridge. Meenakshi Temple, Aligarh Kevil. evening return to hotel dinner and overnight stay.

  • 4th Day: Rameswaram to Kanyakumari - Transfer and sightseeing

    Morning after breakfast drive to Kanyakumari 5 hrs. 24 min (309.2 km). On arrival at Kanyakumari, Check in to the hotel. Kanyakumari Temples are famous the world over because of the beauty of their architecture. Kanyakumari is also known as Cape Camorin.Today you can take a sightseeing point which covers Sucheendram Temple, Saibaba Temple, Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

  • 5th Day: Kanyakumari to Trivandrum - Transfer and sightseeing

    Transfer and sightseeing Morning after breakfast will be transferred to 2 hr 44 min (98 K/M) enroute visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, on arrival check in to hotel after leisure at hotel. Evening proceeds to local sightseeing Shang mugham Beach, Beemapally, Lulu Mall. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • 6th Day: Trivandrum - TVM Departure

    Morning proceeds to TVM Airport with the loving memory of "God's own country"
